An Inconvenient Truth

People should really see this movie, and not just to see sexy, sexy Al Gore talk about temperature variations, wind current models, and how our planet is doomed if we don't cut emissions.  My wife and I watched it again this evening but with the added benefit of a DVD "update" of the movie's content that presents the latest scientific developments and discoveries in the year or so since filming wrapped.

It was during that half hour of hearing Al Gore speak that it really sank in for me:  can anyone imagine George Bush giving a half hour speech about anything, whatever topic he may choose, and finish the presentation sounding halfway presidential?  Hell, how about halfway literate?

Anyway, climate change is real.  And we need to deal with it.

I watched this film at the Kentucky Theater.

Thanks for the tip. I didn't know the disc contained new material. I'm adding it to my Netflix queue... :)
